Job summary

LJB Inc. is seeking a Senior Tunnel Engineer in California to lead tunnel and trenchless design and construction management efforts. The role requires extensive experience on major underground projects and a California PE license.

The candidate will manage proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and teams, while delivering high-quality geotechnical analyses and technical memos. Certification in PMP is preferred and relocation is possible.

Qualifications

15+ years of relevant underground, tunnel, or trenchless project experience.
Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical/structural engineering is required.
Master's degree in civil/geotechnical/structural engineering preferred.
Registered Professional Engineer in California is required; PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

Project management including development of proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for tunnel, trenchless, and rehabilitation projects.
Lead tasks and teams of designers and construction supervision staff.
Produce technical deliverables according to client specifications.
Build a network of clients within the tunnel industry to enable teaming and successful pursuits.
