Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Network Administrator (NetOps/ITSC) to support the NCIS ITD in Quantico, VA. The role focuses on enterprise network operations, maintenance, and security, with escalation to senior engineers for complex issues.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of related experience in network engineering.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required to access sensitive information.
• Experience with large government environments is preferred.
• CCNA is desirable and CompTIA Security+ CE is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support for operation, maintenance, and security of the enterprise network infrastructure.
• Monitor network, respond to alerts, troubleshoot basic issues, escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
• Perform routine network checks, implement security controls, participate in security audits, and ensure regulatory compliance (DISA STIGs, NIST).
• Assist with incident response and document common network issues and solutions; coordinate with other IT teams.
