Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney in California to join a well-established firm with a strong focus on complex probate litigation. Hybrid role based in Irvine or San Diego, CA, handling a full caseload from intake to resolution while mentoring junior attorneys.

You will draft pleadings, take depositions, participate in hearings, and collaborate with a long-standing team. California Bar in good standing and 5+ years of trust & estate litigation required.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required.
• 5+ years of litigation experience, including depositions, court appearances, and motion practice.
• Strong familiarity with Probate Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and Evidence Code.
• Prior experience mentoring junior attorneys or paralegals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage your own litigation caseload from intake to resolution.
• Draft strategic pleadings and strong motions with minimal oversight.
• Take and defend depositions; prepare for hearings and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and the court.

Location: Irvine, CA or San Diego, CA

Schedule: Hybrid Remote/Office

Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per year

Base Salary Range: $200k-$350k/year + bonuses

Education and Experience
