Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney to join a well‑established California firm. Location options include Irvine, CA or San Diego, CA with hybrid remote/office schedule. Base salary range is $200k-$350k/year plus bonuses; comprehensive benefits and professional development are offered.

Active CA bar and 5+ years of T&E litigation are required. The successful candidate will lead a caseload, draft pleadings, take depositions, mentor junior staff, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of litigation experience, including depositions and motion practice (at least 2 years in trust & estate litigation).
• Familiarity with the California Probate Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and Evidence Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage your own litigation caseload from intake to resolution.
• Draft strategic pleadings and strong motions with minimal oversight.
• Take and defend depositions; prepare for hearings and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and the court.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm-wide strategy sessions.

Location: Irvine, CA or San Diego, CA

Schedule: Hybrid Remote/Office

Base Salary Range: $200k-$350k/year + bonuses

Job Details

The Senior T&E Litigation Attorney will:

• Lead and manage your own litigation caseload from intake to resolution
• Draft strategic pleadings and strong motions with minimal oversight
• Take and defend depositions; prepare for hearings and trials

• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm-wide strategy sessions

Education and Experience:

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• 5+ years of litigation experience, including depositions, court appearances, and motion practice (at least 2 years of this within trust & estate litigation).
• Expert-level familiarity with the California Probate Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and Evidence Code
• Prior experience managing junior attorneys or paralegals is a plus
