Job summary

FrankCrum is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to support the Managing Trial Attorney in defending Frank Winston Crum Insurance Company and its insureds in litigated matters across property, bodily injury, and construction defect claims in Florida.

Responsibilities include updating matters from pre-trial through post-trial, developing litigation strategies, preparing pleadings and discovery, and coordinating with Claims Management and clients to ensure timely, well-documented case handling.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
• Seven or more years of civil litigation experience, preferably insurance defense.
• Jury trial experience preferred but not required.
• Experience litigating construction defect, property, and general liability claims.

Responsibilities

• Update all aspects of assigned matters from pre-trial through post-trial.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve litigation objectives.
• Defend Insureds in property, bodily injury, and construction defect cases.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and related tasks.
• Ensure carrier reporting guidelines are followed with detail.
• Collaborate with Claims Management and clients on claims and lawsuits.
• Analyze case performance on open and closed files.
