Frank Winston Crum Insurance seeks a Senior Construction Paralegal in Florida to support staff counsel in defending insureds in property, bodily injury, and construction defect matters statewide. The role focuses on discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation, with heavy coordination across claims teams and vendors.

You will draft documents, manage case calendars, and assist multiple attorneys while leveraging Clio and AI-assisted tools to streamline research and workflow.

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years of law firm experience, preferably with insurance defense litigation.
• Experience with litigated construction defect claims including pre-suit requirements.
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys with varying workstyles.
• Familiarity with litigation case management platforms and e-discovery tools.
• Proficiency with legal tech for research, document review and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintains partnership with Claims Management/Staff and clients in handling claims and lawsuits.
• Ensures compliance with court rules and deadlines.
• Drafts pleadings for review by staff counsel.
• Assists with discovery, including responses, document production and privilege logs.
• Reviews and summarizes project records; maintains electronic databases.
• Coordinates with outside litigation vendors and supports trial preparation.
