Job summary

FrankCrum Staffing in Clearwater, FL seeks a Senior Construction Paralegal to support staff counsel in defending insureds in construction-related disputes across Florida. You will manage discovery, draft pleadings, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring court rule compliance.

The role requires seven years of law firm experience, paralegal credentials, and proficiency with legal tech including e-discovery and document management. An FRP license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree in paralegal or legal studies, a paralegal certificate, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in paralegal or legal studies is preferred.
• Florida registered paralegal (FRP) certification or willingness to obtain said certification preferred.
• Minimum seven (7) years of law firm experience, preferably in insurance defense litigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cooperative partnership with Claims Management/Staff and clients in handling claims and lawsuits.
• Ensure compliance with local court rules and deadlines.
• Draft pleadings for review by staff counsel.
• Assist with discovery, including responses, document production, and privilege logs.
• Coordinate with outside litigation vendors and assist with trial preparation.
