Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Permanent Trial Attorney in Scottsdale, AZ to lead litigation from inception to post-trial. You will handle general liability matters, manage complex dockets, and deliver compelling courtroom advocacy.

The ideal candidate has a JD, is licensed, and brings a decade of trial experience including multiple jury trials, with a proven track record in settlements and ethical practice. Hybrid schedule with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and bar admission.
• At least 10 years as a trial attorney with 5 jury trials in general liability.
• Strong track record in court and settlements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception to post-trial, including drafting pleadings, discovery, pre-trial motions, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments.
• Conduct thorough legal research and fact-finding investigations to support case strategy and preparation.
• Negotiate settlements in the best interest of our clients.
• Collaborate with legal staff and clients to gather information, communicate case progress, and strategize on case handling.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal practices through continuing education and professional development activities.
• Adhere to all professional ethical standards, demonstrating respect for the law, clients, and colleagues.
