Job summary

Wells Fargo seeks a Senior Lead Treasury Management Consultant to guide senior leadership on complex treasury solutions for a Southern California client portfolio with a strong retail focus in San Diego and Orange County. You will lead multi-team efforts, translate client needs into scalable treasury programs, and negotiate high-impact proposals.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and strategic advisory across banking, FX, Merchant Services, and implementation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Treasury Management sales experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military, or education.
• Experience developing complex corporate account strategies to address treasury needs, expand wallet share, displace providers, and consolidate banking relationships.
• Experience prospecting and independently leading complex, multi-product treasury sales from discovery and solution design through pricing, negotiation, implementation, and expansion.
• Strong financial and working-capital knowledge, including financial statement analysis, cash conversion cycles, liquidity, operating flows, debt structures, and treasury implications of acquisitions and recapitalizations.
• Experience supporting rapid growth, mergers and acquisitions, private-equity sponsorship, capital-markets activity, or treasury transformation.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior finance and operations leaders and present clear, commercially compelling treasury recommendations.
• Experience coordinating banking, credit, treasury, product, implementation, service, risk, and leadership partners to deliver unified client experience.
• Strong account planning, pipeline management, calling discipline, and revenue forecasting skills.
• Experience mentoring junior Treasury Management Consultants and providing treasury expertise to banking partners.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leadership on treasury management objectives and long-term goals for highly complex clients across Southern California.
• Lead strategy and resolution for complex treasury management challenges spanning multiple business lines.
• Translate client and business needs into long-term, large-scale treasury management solutions addressing cash flow, liquidity, and operating requirements.
• Provide direction and expertise for cross-functional client solutions with banking, FX, Merchant Services, Commercial Card, implementation, and service partners.
• Lead complex client strategy, deal management, negotiation, and proposal activities across San Diego and OC markets.
• Engage professionals across the company to strengthen client and banking partnerships and advise leadership.
• Lead cross-functional projects and mentor Treasury Management Consultants and banking partners.
