Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dynamic sales professional to originate and develop new business opportunities in the payables marketplace. You will lead clients through the full sales lifecycle, from qualification and solution design to pricing, proposals, product demos, and contract closure.

You will deliver consultative guidance across Purchasing Cards, Corporate Travel Cards, Virtual Payables, and Comprehensive Payables, acting as a trusted advisor in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the payables marketplace.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced global environment.
• Experience leading technology demonstrations and discussions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate and develop new business opportunities through proactive client engagement, industry networking, referral generation, and strategic prospecting.
• Lead clients through the full sales lifecycle, including opportunity qualification, solution design, pricing strategy, proposal development, product demonstrations, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
• Provide subject matter expertise across the GPS payables portfolio, including Purchasing Cards, Corporate Travel Cards, Virtual Payables, and Comprehensive Payables.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering consultative recommendations aligned to treasury and payment optimization objectives.
