The Shipyard is a leading, independent marketing and communication agency delivering integrated campaigns for travel, tourism and lifestyle brands. We’re seeking a Senior Account Executive with a storytelling mindset and strong media relations experience to fuel national and international coverage.

You'll collaborate on multi-person accounts, plan media tours, manage influencer programs, and craft compelling client collateral while traveling as needed.

Formación

• 5 to 7 years of communications experience in the travel industry.
• Established national travel and lifestyle media relationships.
• BA or BS in public relations, journalism, or related fields preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in AP Style; willing to travel and possess a valid passport.

Responsabilidades

• Supports daily activities for designated national and international accounts as part of a multi-person account team; client mix includes destination and hotel/resort properties.
• Contributes 60 percent of time to proactive media relations and influencer programming.
• Plans, implements and manages client media tours and in-destination media visits.
• Assists with planning and conducts media familiarization tours; international travel may be involved.
• Executes both for-trade and paid influencer programs; sourcing, contracting and reporting.
• Writes client collateral including news releases, media pitches, bios and fact sheets.
