Job summary

The Shipyard, a leading marketing and communications agency, seeks a Senior Account Executive to drive media relations and influencer programs for travel clients. Remote role open to candidates in South Carolina.

You will build strategic outreach, plan media tours, coordinate familiarization trips, and craft compelling client collateral while maintaining strong press relationships and a passion for travel brands.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of communications experience in travel industry or agency environment.
• Established national travel and lifestyle media relationships and ability to build new ones with traditional and digital tools.
• Excellent writing and attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support national and international account teams on media relations and influencer programs.
• Plan, execute and manage client media tours and in-destination visits.
• Coordinate media familiarization trips and travel as needed.
• Develop and pitch fresh story angles and maintain journalist relationships.
• Write client collateral including news releases, media pitches, captions and bios.
