Job summary

Ardurra Group is seeking a Senior Transportation/Roadway Engineer to support a range of roadway and multimodal projects from our Knoxville office and other locations. You will mentor junior staff, guide complex design efforts, and coordinate with clients and regulators.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, has 10+ years of roadway experience, and is proficient in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 10+ years of post-licensure transportation/roadway design experience
• Proficient in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer
• Proficient in MS Office Suite programs
• Experience preparing final design plans, specifications, and estimates
• Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills
• Strong analytical problem-solving, time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-discipline transportation engineering design tasks
• Provide technical guidance to ensure design intent and standards
• Develops contract plans and prepares specs and cost estimates
• Supports project execution including scope, budget, and schedule
• Leads engineers, designers, and technicians on projects
• Performs quality control on design outputs and reports
• Assists with marketing and business development efforts
• Communicates with clients, leaders, sub consultants, and regulators
