Job summary

STV, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to lead major transportation projects for NJDOT and other public-sector clients.

As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee planning, design through construction and closeout, guiding multidisciplinary teams and serving as the primary client advisor. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk while delivering high-profile infrastructure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey.
15+ years of progressive transportation engineering and project management experience.
Experience managing major transportation projects for NJDOT, NJTA, or similar public agencies.
Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead large, complex transportation infrastructure projects from Preliminary Engineering through Construction Completion.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to ensure successful delivery.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, subconsultants, and technical specialists.
Oversee preparation and delivery of design documents, engineering reports, and project submissions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
