Egis, a leading international engineering, consulting and infrastructure firm, seeks a Transportation Project Manager in Kansas City, KS. A PE with 8+ years of transportation project experience is needed to lead designs for KDOT, KTA and municipal clients.

You'll coordinate staff, manage budgets and proposals, and foster client relationships while delivering high-quality, on-time work in a collaborative environment. This role supports growth across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience on transportation projects; KS PE within 6 months of hire.
• KS Professional License or ability to obtain KS PE.
• Willingness to do business development and lead proposals.
• Effective verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage design projects for KDOT, KTA and municipal clients.
• Direct and/or perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Manage client development and foster relationships with existing and new clients.
• Coordinate with project staff, disciplines, sub-consultants, clients and reviewers to ensure quality.
• Manage project budgets, scope, fees, and proposals; prepare contracts.
• Schedule work for team members to deliver on time and on budget.
• Ensure efficient utilization of staff and high-quality service.
