Job summary

Egis seeks a Transportation Project Manager in Kansas City, KS to lead design projects for KDOT, KTA, and municipal clients. A PE with 8+ years of transportation experience is required, with ability to manage budgets, scope, and proposals.

You'll coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, develop client relationships, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Hybrid in-office work is available; local residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license or ability to obtain KS PE within 6 months of hire.
• 8+ years of experience on transportation projects.
• Experience managing KDOT/KTA projects is a plus.
• Experience with design software MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Strong communication and client development skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage design projects for KDOT, KTA and municipal clients.
• Direct engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Lead proposals, client development, and contract development.
• Coordinate with project staff, sub-consultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure quality.
