Job summary

Jacobs in Denver seeks a Transportation Senior Project Manager to lead multidiscipline roadway and transit design projects from concept through construction. You will mentor junior engineers, prepare scopes, schedules, and budgets, and coordinate with clients to deliver bold, defensible solutions.

This role requires 20+ years in transportation, strong CDOT familiarity, and a track record of winning work. The hybrid work policy allows time between Jacobs offices and project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 20+ years in transportation with emphasis on roadway/transit design.
• 8+ years in transportation project management.
• DOT/County/Municipal project experience.
• Licensed professional engineer.
• CDOT plans familiarity.
• Colorado client connections.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful delivery of quality projects from conceptual design through construction.
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages.
• Manage on-call contracts and sub-consultants.
• Prepare scope, schedule, and budgets for projects and task orders.
• Prepare or oversee design for roadway, highway, and/or traffic engineering projects.
• Identify creative and innovative solutions based on client/site constraints.
• Provide technical guidance, oversight, and quality reviews.
• Train, direct, and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate milestones with other PMs and group leads in the Mountains area.
• Assist with client strategy to win work and support growth initiatives.
