Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager in the Phoenix/Tempe area to lead large-scale, multidisciplinary transportation projects from concept through construction. You will collaborate with top engineers and project managers to deliver client-focused solutions and advance Jacobs’ mission in the Southwest.
The role emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, and proactive client engagement, with a hybrid in-office/remote work model and opportunities to influence business strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
- AZ PE license required or in process.
- 15+ years transportation design experience including roadways, bridges, drainage, traffic and/or transit.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex transportation and transit design projects.
- Lead design teams to meet schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
- Solve technical challenges with ingenuity and strategic thinking.
- Select and manage subconsultant teams.
- Support business development and client engagement across Arizona and the Southwest.
- Coordinate, conduct and manage project meetings.
- Ensure quality control and assurance per Jacobs processes.
- Collaborate with global teammates to maximize digital tools and design capabilities.
