Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Denver seeks a Senior Transportation Project Manager to lead multi-discipline roadway and traffic projects from concept through construction.

You will mentor junior engineers, develop scopes, schedules and budgets, and coordinate with clients and sub-consultants to deliver high‑quality outcomes. Based in our Mountains region operations, you will help grow the portfolio by pursuing opportunities, leveraging CDOT and local DOT experience, and applying Jacobs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering required.
• 20+ years in transportation with roadways/transit focus.
• 8+ years of transportation project management.
• DOT/CDOT/municipal project experience.
• Proven project leadership experience.
• Strong math, analysis, and time management skills.
• Familiar with CDOT plans and specs.
• Colorado client connections.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful delivery of projects from conceptual design through construction.
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
• Manage on-call contracts and sub-consultants.
• Prepare scope, schedule, and budgets for projects and task orders.
• Prepare or oversee roadway/highway/traffic design work.
• Provide technical guidance, oversight, and quality reviews.
• Train, direct, and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate milestones and workload with other PMs and group leads.
• Assist with client strategy to win work and business development.
• Execute projects using Jacobs project delivery processes.
