gpac is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) to join our Transportation team in a Project Manager capacity. You will lead projects from concept through construction, manage internal teams, and serve as a trusted partner to clients.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or the ability to obtain it in 6 months.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation / civil engineering.
• Proven experience managing projects, teams, and client relationships.
• Strong understanding of roadway design, drainage, traffic, and utilities.
• Experience with DOT and local agency standards, plan development, and project delivery.
• Experience with budgeting, proposals, and project financials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, and related design tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transportation projects from concept through construction.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships and communication.
• Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project scopes.
• Coordinate across internal disciplines (traffic, structures, drainage, surveying, planning, environmental, etc.).
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to DOT and regulatory standards.
• Support business development efforts and identify new opportunities with public agencies.
