Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to join our Transportation team as a Project Manager. You will lead projects from concept through construction, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams and ensuring client satisfaction.

This role offers growth, leadership visibility, and a clear path to partnership within a collaborative consulting environment with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• PE license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years in transportation / civil engineering.
• Experience managing projects, teams and client relationships.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transportation projects from concept through construction.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Serve as primary contact for client relationships and communication.
• Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project scopes.
• Coordinate across internal disciplines (traffic, structures, drainage, surveying, planning, environmental).
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to DOT and regulatory standards.
• Support business development with public agencies.
