Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and preparation of preliminary, right of way and final contract plans for highways, structures, drainage and environmental issues.
• Manage Interstate and Primary design projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Provide project management services for VDOT and Locally Administered urban area projects.
• Coordinate with internal staff, local governments, consultants and FHWA regarding transportation projects.
• Develop and monitor policies, procedures and practices for engineering projects and programs.
