Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and over 10 years of related experience. Responsibilities include managing transportation projects, overseeing budgets, and ensuring client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to mentor junior staff while working on various transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain PE in multiple states.
• Minimum 10 years of roadway and/or transportation related design experience.
• Previous MDOT and Michigan Local Public Agency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation projects and technical tasks.
• Oversee budget, schedule, technical requirements, and project communications.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver projects.

Skills

Professional Engineer license

10+ years of related Engineering experience

MDOT knowledge and experience

Design Software (Bentley MicroStation)
