Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Project Manager to join the Construction Team in our Michigan offices, overseeing MDOT projects across Traverse City, Bay City, Flint and surrounding areas. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Professional Engineer license are required, with 10+ years of MDOT construction experience and strong writing and communication skills.

The role involves contract administration, supervising staff, and supporting business development, with emphasis on delivering projects

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• At least 10 years of MDOT construction experience.
• Professional Engineer license is required.
• Strong writing, organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts for MDOT/Local Agency Program projects across Traverse City, Gaylord, Bay City, Flint offices.
• Supervise construction staff including field engineers and inspectors.
• Support business development and proposals for CEI work with MDOT.
• Manage project scope, schedule and budget to deliver on time and within budget.
• Develop project reports and technical presentations; attend client and staff meetings.
