Job summary

Otak is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager to join our Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA office to oversee the delivery of resilient, accessible, and context-sensitive civil and active transportation projects.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction, guiding clients and stakeholders to deliver safe, sustainable transportation solutions across Oregon and Southwest Washington while strengthening community connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
• PE license with ability to obtain registration in Oregon and Washington within six months.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering with emphasis on transportation.
• Strong technical background in roadway, multimodal, and transit infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary transportation and transit projects from planning through construction.
• Apply deep expertise to ensure quality, compliance, and innovation across design phases.
• Mentor and empower junior engineers through cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Manage client engagement and ensure project objectives are met on time and on budget.
