Job summary

Shrewsberry & Associates, LLC in Seattle seeks a senior project manager to lead civil engineering projects, including administration, budgeting, scheduling, proposals, client meetings, and reporting.

The role may involve business development in support of the Director/Principal and may require travel to other Shrewsberry offices and markets. A PE license and 15+ years in civil engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• 15+ years of civil engineering experience; consultant experience preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Proven track record delivering transportation design projects.
• Experience leading and developing teams with direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel (and subcontractors) to meet deliverables on time and within budget.
• Represent the firm in locations, markets, and industry associations.
• Ensure engineering services meet standards, client requirements, and firm objectives.
• Oversee scope, deliverables, timelines, change orders, cost control, staffing, and quality control.
• Provide technical delivery of roadway designs on large/complex projects.
• Mentor mid-level and junior staff; provide technical guidance.
• Contribute to Seattle office direction and transportation markets.
• Participate in proposal presentations and develop scopes of work and fee estimates.
• Determine staffing levels and manage schedule, budget, and profitability.
• Use project management software for project oversight.
• Identify prospects and participate in project pursuits; manage client relationships.
