Job summary

Stantec in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in Transportation to lead and deliver complex roadway and transit projects from planning through construction, while contributing to the growth of our transportation practice and client relationships.

You will guide cross‑functional teams, mentor junior staff, manage client relations, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget while complying with engineering standards and state/federal policies.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required (or equivalent).
• PE license in Ohio or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering and project management experience in transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver transportation projects from planning through construction.
• Manage and mentor project teams including junior staff.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
