Job summary

Stantec’s Transportation practice in California seeks a Senior Project Manager with Account Management responsibilities to support public transit and transportation agencies. You will lead the delivery of highway and bridge projects while strengthening client relationships and guiding account planning.

Ideal candidates have 20+ years in transportation delivery, strong communication, and ability to manage cross-disciplinary teams across California’s transportation landscape.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering; advanced degrees preferred.
20 years of progressive experience in transportation project delivery.
Experience managing highway and bridge projects for public agencies; Caltrans network desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead account management for California public transit and regional agencies.
Manage highway and bridge project delivery including scope, schedule, and budget.
Develop proposals, scopes, fee estimates, and client interviews.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams; ensure QA/QC and project management standards.
Build and maintain client relationships with Caltrans and other agencies.
