Job summary

TPD, ranked the #4 Large Employer to Work for in America, is hiring a Senior Highway Project Manager/Team Lead in New Jersey. You will serve as Technical Lead for highway projects, mentor junior staff, and manage project schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidate has 9–15 years of experience, NJ PE license, and familiarity with NJDOT, DRPA and DRJTBC. A willingness to attend marketing events and work on multiple projects is expected. Salary range $115,000–$165,000.

Qualifications

• 9-15 years of experience
• NJ PE License
• Previous experience with NJDOT is preferred
• Experience working on County Projects, DRPA and DRJTBC is a bonus
• Served as a Highway Task Leader or Lead Designer
• Participated in preparation of technical and price proposals
• Willing to attend marketing events
• Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Lead for highway-oriented projects
• Mentor to junior Highway Design Department staff
• Perform Business Development activities including attending professional society events
• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Assist with Quality Control/Quality Assurance Reviews
