Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Project Manager to lead the growth and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects from our Phoenix, Arizona office. This role blends technical leadership, client relationship management, project delivery, and business development to shape transportation across Arizona and the Southwest.

Qualifications

BS/BA + 10 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Strong background in transportation engineering, roadway/highway design, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary transportation engineering projects, focusing on roadway and highway design and delivery.
Build and strengthen relationships with ADOT, MAG, Valley Metro, counties, and municipalities across Arizona.
Identify opportunities, pursue client engagement strategies, and position AECOM for strategic project pursuits.
Manage project portfolios with scope, schedule, budget, and profitability accountability.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across roadway design, traffic engineering, drainage, structures, and planning to deliver integrated solutions.
Provide technical leadership for transportation studies, preliminary engineering, final design, and project delivery activities.
