Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our transportation team in Tucson, Arizona. This role supports planning, design and delivery of transportation projects to improve mobility and safety across Arizona and the Southwest.

You will lead roadway design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, review PS&E packages and contribute to budgets and schedules, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and engage with ADOT and local agencies in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway and highway design activities including geometric design and intersections.
• Prepare and review PS&E packages for roadway improvements and corridor projects.
• Provide specialized technical input for transportation studies and design development.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop design procedures and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project budgets and schedules.
