Job summary

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager/Program Director to oversee transportation infrastructure projects in Northern California, including CALTRANS work. The role supports hybrid/remote work within the region and requires a PE and extensive project management background on large-scope programs.

Responsibilities span initiating and delivering highway projects, managing contracts, schedules, and client relations, with emphasis on quality, compliance, and effective leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with a technical/business focus.
• Minimum of 20 years of related experience on large-scale transportation projects.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a senior project manager/contract manager on complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation engineering projects in Northern California for CALTRANS and regional clients.
• Oversee project initiation, design, reports, plans, specs and estimations.
• Manage project scope, fee negotiations, scheduling, and client relations.
• Ensure compliance with industry practices and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to successful delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and contract administration.
