Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineering Project Manager to lead and grow the transportation practice in West Virginia. The ideal candidate balances technical project delivery, client management, business development, and team leadership within a collaborative, employee-owned firm.

The role offers leadership influence over a diverse portfolio of transportation projects, with a strong bonus structure and flexible, hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license required.
• 12+ years of transportation/highway/roadway experience.
• Strong project management and financial oversight experience.
• Experience with OpenRoads, Civil 3D, and/or InRoads.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor transportation engineers and project managers.
• Manage the delivery of complex transportation, roadway, and highway projects.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and financial performance.
• Perform technical reviews and QA/QC of engineering deliverables.
• Develop and maintain relationships with public and private sector clients.
• Support business development efforts and identify opportunities for growth.
• Participate in strategic planning and expansion of the transportation practice.
• Serve as a client-facing leader at meetings, presentations, and public forums.
• Support staff development, succession planning, and team growth.
