Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems is seeking a senior Program Manager to lead planning, execution, and control of multi-million dollar fixed-price NRE programs delivering payment and information solutions for intelligent travel applications in the DC region. The role is customer-facing and preferred to reside in the DC region, Maryland, or Virginia, with 10-20% travel.

Qualifications

Four-year college degree or equivalent in a technical discipline, plus related experience.
MBA or advanced engineering degree is preferred.
PMP certification is highly recommended.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Responsibilities

Create a project management plan using PMO practices to fit stakeholder needs and deliver on budget.
Oversee the program lifecycle from inception to delivery including design, procurement, manufacturing, testing and acceptance.
Develop and manage complex schedules; utilize Primavera Scheduling support.
Ensure on-time delivery and manage scope, risk, and communications with the customer and stakeholders.
Present program status to executive leadership monthly and coordinate with Product Development Program Management.
