Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems, based in the Washington DC region, seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead multi-million dollar fixed-price non-recurring engineering programs for intelligent travel applications, with emphasis on mobile solutions for the DC area. Occasional travel 10–20% to CTS HQ in San Diego may be required.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree, strong PM leadership across cross-functional teams, and PMP certification is highly recommended.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in electronic, software, mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
• PM experience on high risk/high value programs is preferred.
• PMP certification is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project management plans to fit stakeholder needs within budget.
• Oversee all phases from inception to completion including design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, delivery and acceptance.
• Develop and manage complex development schedules with Primavera support.
• Communicate program status to executive leadership monthly and manage risk registers.
