Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager in Southern California, based in Tustin or Ontario, CA.

You will lead the delivery of complex roadway and highway projects, guiding design teams and coordinating with clients and agency partners to ensure successful outcomes. The role emphasizes project management, design leadership, and business development, with opportunities to mentor staff, stamp plans, and drive quality through DEA's standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience, with at least 5 years in project management or as a design lead.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transportation projects for local and state agencies.
• Oversee design teams and ensure QA/QC and adherence to DEA standards, with stamping authority.
• Mentor staff and support business development efforts.
• Collaborate with clients and agency partners to deliver high-quality transportation solutions.
