Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to lead drainage design on CA transportation projects from Tustin or Ontario. You will mentor staff and collaborate with clients to deliver innovative solutions for highways and interchanges.

Required: CA PE or reciprocity within six months, 10+ years in drainage for transportation, and proficiency with OpenRoads, AI AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic tools. DEA offers competitive pay and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering.
• 10+ years drainage engineering experience in transportation.
• California PE license or reciprocity within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage engineering teams on transportation projects (freeways, highways, interchanges).
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for planning, design, construction.
• Design drainage systems: storm drains, culverts, detention, water quality facilities, bridges, channels.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare/review drainage designs using OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
