Job summary

Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC seeks an ISO Transportation Manager to oversee all transportation activities at an ISO Depot. The role focuses on driving business growth and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective dispatching, load planning, and staff development.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong leadership abilities, and solid knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Staff supervision experience.
• Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Experience managing a location of similar scope.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Driver Managers including ensuring accurate and efficient dispatching and load planning.
• Develop positive relationships with customers including coordinating activities, resolving issues, and soliciting work.
• Monitor and train staff for consistent and efficient processes including proper dispatching.
• Coordinate with yard, shop, and wash leadership to ensure timely and efficient execution of activities.
• Ensure chassis and tractors are kept current with servicing and inspections.
• Recruiting, hiring, termination of drivers and terminal staff.
• Manage dispatch to identify resource needs and training and development needs are met.
• Enforce safety rules of the Company and government agencies (DOT/OSHA).
• Communicate with Sales about potential new customer opportunities.
