• Performs advanced transportation operations or maintenance support work including complex maintenance contract inspection; material and process inspection.
• Operates light and heavy equipment and performs roadway maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Coordinates traffic control plans, assists public during emergencies, and trains other employees.
• Reviews barricade standards and inspects barricades for compliance.
• May lead a work crew or project to ensure work meets specifications.
