Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Transportation Manager II to own the on-site customer relationship, KPIs, and transportation execution. You will coordinate with NFI control towers and carrier partners, while managing Logistics Coordinators to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a strong background in supply chain with leadership experience, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on safety, cost control, and service quality across multiple customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business or related field; HS diploma acceptable with experience.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain
• Experience with TMW is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations or willingness to become certified
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Willingness to travel ~25%
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours as needed
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of facilities and staff.
• Maintains ongoing customer relationships and drives continuous improvement.
• Plans long-term labor needs based on sales forecasts and data.
• Develops strategic plans for efficient use of equipment and personnel.
• Ensures compliance with safety, regulatory, and SOP standards.
• Audits billing and reports financial performance to leadership.
