Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Senior Client Manager for its Transportation-focused Business Insurance team in Missoula, MT. You will serve as the primary strategic partner with the sales team on key accounts, managing high-level relationships, driving retention, and identifying growth opportunities.

You will provide expert guidance on trucking/transportation risks, coordinate proposals and stewardship deliverables, and mentor team members as part of a dynamic, client-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance account management/client service experience with trucking/transportation focus.
• Active P&C license; STAR and TRIP designations preferred but not required.
• Experience managing insurance programs for transportation clients (motor carriers, brokers/logistics).
• Strong certificate management and contract review experience for transportation clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client relationships and Transportation accounts, delivering strategic risk solutions and proactive program management.
• Coordinate and produce insurance proposals, stewardship reports, analytics, and market commentary.
• Interpret transportation client operations and exposures into underwriting-ready submissions.
• Support renewals in a competitive transportation market with pricing, coverage, and program structures.
• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system and ensure data integrity.
• Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with the sales/service team.
• Ensure high-quality customer service with a focus on the transportation landscape.
