Job summary

RK&K seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager/Construction Manager to lead transportation, infrastructure, rail, utility, and transit projects across Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC metropolitan region.

You will oversee planning through construction, act as client advisor, and ensure safety, schedule adherence, budget, and quality. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15+ years in project/construction management on large transportation/public infrastructure projects.
• Proven management of large, complex construction programs with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong contracts, controls, risk management, and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction and infrastructure projects.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with agencies/ stakeholders.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams and oversee scope, schedule, budget and risk.
• Monitor performance, resolve field issues, change orders, and claims.
• Lead meetings, client communications, and procurement activities.
• Manage financial performance including forecasting, staffing, and invoicing.
