Job summary

RK&K is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Construction Manager to lead delivery of transportation, infrastructure, rail, and transit projects in Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC metro region. You will oversee planning through construction, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality are met while advising clients and stakeholders.

The role requires guiding multidisciplinary teams, managing contracts and risk, and engaging in business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive project and construction management experience.
• Proven ability to manage large, multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
• PE license required.
• Experience with transportation/public infrastructure and agencies (VDOT, WMATA, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction and infrastructure projects.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with agencies and stakeholders.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams and manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Oversee risk management, change orders, and field issues.
• Support business development and client relationship management.
