AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Hydraulics Engineer to join our Transportation team in Franklin, TN. This role provides technical leadership on complex transportation infrastructure projects, mentors engineers, and delivers innovative solutions for clients.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, a Tennessee PE license, at least 6 years hydraulics experience (including closed system drainage and ditch design) and 2 years hydraulic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee or ability to obtain licensure via reciprocity.
• 6 years of hydraulics experience, closed system drainage, and ditch design.
• 2 years of hydraulic modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead engineer on mid- to large-scale transportation projects with technical direction and oversight.
• Provide specialized technical input for transportation studies, planning, and design.
• Lead development and review of complex engineering designs complying with codes and client requirements.
