Ideal candidates bring strong technical capabilities, project leadership, and ability to manage across all project phases, with PE licensure and ALDOT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field; 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alabama or ability to obtain licensure via reciprocity.
• 6 years of Hydraulics experience, closed system drainage, and ditch design.
• 2 years of Hydraulic modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead engineer on mid- to large-scale transportation projects.
• Provide specialized technical expertise for transportation studies, planning, and design efforts.
• Lead the development and review of complex engineering designs, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Review, approve, and seal engineering plans and deliverables.
