Placements24 seeks a Senior Transportation Engineer to lead road network design, traffic analysis, and infrastructure planning in Welkom, Free State. You will guide design teams, perform feasibility studies, and collaborate with government bodies and developers on substantial projects.

You will oversee timelines, budgets, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring compliance with SA road standards and safety guidelines. A senior professional with a strong track record is preferred.

Competenze

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Transportation Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on road design and traffic analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in managing transportation projects of varying scales within South Africa.
• Proficiency in transportation engineering software such as PTV Vissim, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS.

• Lead the design and planning of road networks, including highways, urban streets, and rural roads.
