Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead infrastructure projects from our Randburg office. You will manage design and delivery of roads, drainage, water systems, and bulk earthworks, steering projects from feasibility to tender.

You will mentor junior engineers, review technical calculations, and ensure adherence to South African standards and sustainability goals, while maintaining strong client relationships and project budgets.

Formación

• Bachelor-level degree in civil engineering (BEng or BSc).
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng).
• 8–12 years of progressive civil infrastructure design and project management experience.
• Extensive experience in roads, stormwater, water reticulation, and bulk earthworks.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, and HEC-RAS; familiarity with SA design standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development of civil infrastructure projects (roads, earthworks, drainage, water/sanitation).
• Manage project execution: planning, scheduling, budgeting, resources.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments; prepare detailed designs, drawings, specs, and tender documents.
• Oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with standards, quality, and safety.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders; mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Review and approve engineering calculations and designs; manage project risks and sustainability.
