Job summary

Qualifications

PE license is preferred or required.
7 years of related experience; domestic/international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Act as Task Manager or Project Planner for multiple task work orders and assist with proposals and staffing projects.
Perform simulation and capacity analysis using Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, HCS, SIDRA.
Carry out safety analysis using HSM methodologies and Safe Systems.
Conduct multimodal and transit analyses.
Work on corridors, planning and Environmental Linkages, Needs & Deficiencies studies.
Prepare Functional Design and Preliminary Engineering Reports.
Apply Intelligent Transportation Systems concepts.
Address community traffic engineering and safety issues.
Peer review traffic studies conducted by others.
Design traffic signals/signal systems plans, specifications and estimates.
