Job summary

AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer in Mount Laurel, NJ to deliver highway and traffic projects.

You will develop plans, drawings and technical deliverables for traffic control, signing and pavement markings while leading roadway design tasks and team coordination. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of highway/roadway experience, NJ PE, and proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Engineering with MS preferred
10+ years of engineering experience with highway/roadway and traffic emphasis
NJ PE required; additional state licensure recommended

Responsibilities

Develop plans, layouts, drawings and technical deliverables for traffic signal, signing and pavement marking projects
Lead roadway design tasks including geometry, design models, cross sections and grading
Prepare construction bid documents: plans, specs, estimates and schedules
Coordinate rights-of-way, access and utility processes and supporting docs
Perform engineering calculations and field observations; supervise production of drawings
Prepare technical docs, permit applications, reports and cost labor-hour estimates
