Job Description for Senior Transportation Engineer

PSI, a fast-growing full-service transportation engineering firm with three decades of experience, is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer with expertise in traffic engineering and design. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in traffic engineering tasks and hold a STEM degree. This role offers exposure to various disciplines within transportation engineering, including both design and analysis, from project conception to final design.

Responsibilities:

1. Produce transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages across disciplines such as temporary traffic control, traffic signals, utilities, signing, pavement marking, roadways, and lighting networks.
2. Perform traffic engineering studies, analysis, and modeling.
3. Utilize available resources, standards, and reference materials to ensure high-quality design deliverables.

Essential Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or related STEM field
• 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience
• Ability and desire to work professionally in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• P.E. License
• Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Synchro, and/or Vissim
• M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
